We offer the lodgings with capacity of 20 beds. Each room is equipped with TV/SAT, its own sanitary facilities, alight balcony. All of the rooms are nonsmoking; (reserved spaces for smokers are available). The four bed apartments have a kitchenette, (electric cooker, fridge, boiling pot and percolator). The room for placing of skis and bikes is available. Some windows look onto downhill course “Samoty” and on city skyline. We can provide you information about the local sights, interesting excursional traces and next possibilities of spending your free time.
Boarding: The breakfast is part of the price. Guests can choose the right type of breakfast from the menu card – day before.
The supper isn’t part of the price. We are able to give an order the transport of warm meal from local restaurants in advance.
Parking: The private parking-site is right at the object – free.
The apartments U Beranů are situated in peripheral of the town Železná Ruda, not far from the Bohemian Forest National park frontier. The ski area Samoty is 200m far off.
Winter activities: Železná Ruda offers 29 ski lifts and 30 km downhill courses. The ski resort Špičák offers four ski lifts and the downhill tracks with a big sports value. Visitors can also use the chair lift, which goes towards Špičák – Hochmanky – Pancíř. Many marked and prepared cross-country skiing tracks are situated around the guesthouse. Next services: sauna, solarium, massage and the covered sports hall is in Železná Ruda. Guests can also visit the Bavarian ski resort Velký Javor. The swimming pool with a contra flow is in Bavarian Ruda.
Summers activities: The region offers good condition for hiking, mountain biking and forest fruit picking. Trips in surroundings – Čertovo and Černé lakes, reservoir Laka, hill Špičák, outlook-tower Pancíř and Poledník, falls in Bílá Strž. In summer is possible to use an ecological bus, which goes along whole Šumava and as well to Bavarian National Park. You can visit a mountain Velký Javor in Bavaria. The region is suitable for mushroom picking.
