The family house is situated in undisturbed part of the community Karlova Studánka – part Hubertov.

 

 Winter activities: The region is noted for a long of winter season and good snow cover. It is suitable for downhill skiing and for cross country skiing. There are twelve downhill courses in surrounding. The nearest ski lift is 300 m far off. The ski slope is suitable for family skiing. All downhill tracks are easily accessible. The well-known ski resort of Jeseniky is Ovčárna and Praděd. You can get there by means by shuttle traffic (bus). It is possible to borrow the skiing equipment at point. Visitors can utilize a hydrotherapeutic programme and a fitness centre in Karlova Studánka spa; eventually use the indoor swimming pool and a hothouse in the contiguous district town Bruntál (20 km away.)  Many marked and prepared cross-country skiing tracks are situated around the guesthouse, which can take skiers as far as the ridges of the Jeseníky Mountains.

 

Summers activities: The Karlova Studánka spa is a famous place for its unique climate, especially for medication of bagassosis, (asthma, chronic bronchitis and so on.) The high-level of the infrastructure in Karlova Studánka offers a pleasant stay and all-round self-realization. You’ll find here many restaurants, sweetshops, salesrooms of souvenirs, the post-office etc. In summer and autumn season the visitors can find here excellent conditions for hiking and mountain biking.  In immediate surrounding are ideal conditions for forest fruit picking and mushrooms picking. The nearest bathing establishment is in Vrbno p. Pradědem (7 km away). The open-air bathing pool is in Andělská Mountain (4 km away), the bathing establishment is in Jeseník. Visitor can also play tennis; the clay courts are at point. Independently of yearly period oneself Karlova Studánka defines unrivalled climatic conditions and local quality environment, the best in central Europe. Trips: Bruntál castle (20 km), stronghold Sovinec (30 km), Jeseník-spa (20 km), etc.
