Camp Pension Ranch U Kukačků is located right at the lakeside 1,5km far from a picturesque small town Horní Planá which offers a lot of enjoyment: resturants, bars, diskoteques, tennis courts, minigolf, outdoor cinema, etc.

CAMP: is in a nice, calm environment with capacity of 400 people and it gives privacy to everybody. In the area there are refreshment, new sanitary facilities, kitchen unit, washery, football field, volleyball court, children´s playground, lending office of fishing boats, treddles and conoes, electric connections and possibility to make a fire.

PENSION: offers accommodation in 2 - 4 bed rooms with own sanitary facilities, TV and a terrace with a view to the lake. Restaurant with a bar, table tennis, volleyball court and children´s playground are part of the pension. In evenings it is possible to sit by a fire or on a summer terrace.

RANCH: provides horse riding to nature for children and adults all-year-round. Breed of horses called Hafling are used for riding. They are known for good, calm character and steady step. An interesting attraction is horse swimming in Šumava sea, Lipenské Lake. You are heartly welcome, come to ride and get know local beautiful nature.

Horní Planá and surroundings
It is located about 1,5km far from our camp, it is a picturesque small town at the lakeside of Lipno with many interesting places, monuments and with cultural and sport enjoyment. Especially a house where Adalber Stifter was born, his museum and nature trail. In summer season there is always interesting cultural programme: theatre shows, concerts and entertaining shows. St. Markéta´s Chuch, museum, outdoor cinema, Cultural Information Centre. It is obvious tha there are post-office, doctor, massages, sauna, cash machine. You can also find here many restaurants, eating-places, bars, diskotheques, bowling, minigolf, tennis courts, lending offece of boats and treddles. There is an attractive cycle track around Lipno which is also suitable for in-line skaters. 

Český Krumlov and surroundings
This Unesco landmark is 28km far from Horní Planá. This hitorical town is proud of beautiful castle and its garden with revolving auditorium. In summer season you can find here rich cultural programme.
Close to this town there are ruins of a castle Dívčí Kámen (Girsl´s Rock), a nice wayfarers´place and a view-tower Kleť with a cable railway and observatory.

Other interesting locations
What is worth seeing is Hluboká nad Vltavou Castle where there are a beautiful castle, ZOO, golf course and beautiful surroundings. Other tips for visits are Vyšebrodský Monastery and Rožmberk Castle. We cannot forget Čertova Stěna (Devil´s Wall) as a mysterious place from myths and legends.
