– LITTLE COTTAGE “U MYŠÁKA”.

The region offers lot of opportunities for various forms of entertainment, cultural and sports self-realization. The cottage is situated in the mountain community Malá Morávka, which together with the colony Karlov is the biggest of recreational and tourist resort in Jeseníky Mountains.

Winter activities: The region is noted for a long of winter season and good snow cover. It is suitable for downhill skiing and for cross country skiing. There are twelve downhill courses in surrounding. The nearest 3 ski lifts are 500m far off. All downhill tracks are easily accessible. It is possible to access the ski areas Ovčárna and Praděd too. Many marked and prepared cross-country skiing tracks are situated around the guesthouse, which can take skiers as far as the ridges of mountains.

Summer activities: Hiking, biking, bathing and mushroom picking. Guests are encouraged to visit the surrounding tourist attractions in Karlova Studánka spa, a famous place for its unique climate, especially for medication of asthma and chronic bronchitis and so on. Guest can visit the highest peak of Jeseníky – Praděd. You can get there by shuttle traffic from bus stop Hvězda. From here you can go to Červenohorské saddle, to Skřítek or to Velká kotlina - one of most beautiful part of Jeseníky. Next trips: outlook-tower Zlatý Chlum, Čertovy kameny, Na Pomezí and Na Špičáku caves, Jeseník spa, the nature preserve Rejvíz, Velké Losiny and Lipová spa.

The stronghold is located on a rocky promontory in the mountain valley of Nízký Jeseník and it was found in the year 1348. Further owner was probably aristocrat by name Kobylka from Kobylí, and after a year 1600 the stronghold was in possession of friary German Knights.
