The hotel Gradl is quite repaired establishment that will realize your demands. You can choose from two – four bed rooms. All rooms have modern furniture and own sanitary facilities (WC and shower bath. You can borrow the fridge (21.- CZK / day), TV SET (42.- CZK / day. The rooms are situated in the ground floor bur also in next two floors. The more of the windows look on Javor Mountain (1456 m above sea level), the most high mountain in Bohemian Forest
The colourful mountain hotel is situated on undisturbed place, in the midst of woods of Bohemian Forest just about 1 km far of from the community Železná Ruda at a height of 878 m above sea level. You can get there along the forest road.
Winter activities: Downhill skiing. The ski area Samoty is 500 m far off. It is suitable for families with children. The ski resort Špičák with four ski lifts is situated 5 km far. The exacting skiers can visit the German ski resort Arber with cable-railway, 9 km far off. Many marked and prepared cross-country skiing tracks are situated around the hotel. Next services: a sauna, solarium and the covered sports hall is in Železná Ruda. The swimming pool with a contra flow is in Bavarian Ruda. Don’t forget your passport please.
Summers activities: Some of the activities that you can enjoy this summer include hiking and mountain biking. Trips in surroundings – Čertovo and Černé lakes, a reservoir Laka, a hill Špičák, outlook-tower Pancíř and Poledník, falls in Bílá Strž. In summer is possible to use an ecological bus, which goes along whole Šumava and as well to Bavarian National Park. You can visit a mountain Velký Javor in Bavaria. The region is suitable for mushroom picking and for forest fruit picking.
Bus stop: Železná Ruda, 800m far from the hotel. The transport into the hotel is free.
Train station: Železná Ruda – Town 1100 m far from the hotel
