Pension at Bohouš´s is a stylish Šumava cottage in a calm part of Šumava (Bohemian Forest) below woods in a small village Dolejší Krušec with 9 inhabitants near-by Sušice town and it is suitable for summer as well as winter holiday. Capacity is 34 beds in 4beded and 5beded rooms. Only occupied beds are paid!!!

It is not allowed to smoke in the pension, you should wear home footwear and your pets are welcome

In the ground floor there is fully equipped kitchen, 2 x gas cooker, electric pan, toaster, microwave oven, kettle, big fridge, food store and all dishes, washing-up liquid and tea-towels.
Next to the kitchen there is a big common room with fire-place, coloured TV and bookcase.As a part of the pension you can use volleyball field, open fire-place with grill or outdoor sitting on a terrace with pergola.

Hiking:
Beautiful Šumava in summer and in winter attracts to walks inŠumava National Park where you can see glacier mountain lakes Černé, Čertovo, Prášilské and Lake Laka. Or you can go towards marshland e.g. Tříjezerní, Chalupská and Kvildská where there are many botanical and animal families which you can hardly find anywhere else. The length and level of your track can everyone choose. In near neighbourhood of the pension there are many monuments. For example Jewish sanagogue in Hartmanice, Jewish Museum Dobrá Voda. A herd of American bisons is near-by Kašperské Hory town close to village Červená. We recommend to visit a museum of motorcycles and Šumava. Museum in Kašperské Hory, where you can see many interesting exhibits and you can learn about history of this picturesque part of Bohemia.

 Cycling:
Do you prefer cycling to hiking? In this case  Šumava land is ideal place to relax for you, too. In the National Park Šumava there are hundreds of kilometres of cycle-tracks. You can choose the length and level of the track. You will find some rest-places along many tracks . If you want to be transported to the further places, you can use cycle-bus going round the National Park. Try active rest and choose as your base for your trips calm and family environment of the Pension at Bohouš´s and you will see that you are going to be contented. 

Skiing:
Winter belongs to mountains and Šumava is famous centre of winter sports. You can find here many tracks for cross-country skiing and ski slopes. Ski area with ski slope 600m long 150m wide and 152m superelevation is 2,5km far from the pension in Hartmanice.The slope is artificialy snowed, there is evening skiing and it is mechanically conditioned every day. It is suitable for less efficient skiers (on the right), as well as for more demanding skiers in the left part of the slope. In this area there are also cross-country tracks which link to Šumava artery.

You will see that you will  love winter sports in Šumava. You can celebrate New Year´s Eve (within close company) after agreement, contact us for indivudual  agreement.

 Cultural Monuments:
You shoul not miss for example these interesting places:

Castle Kašperk,Šumava Museum, museum of old motorcycles, Castle Rabí and Velhartice, view-towers at Svatobor, Javorník and Poledník. Black Tower, baroque apothecary U JEdnorožceand famous Klatovy catacombs in Klatovy. Šumava has many beautiful places which cannot be named all ... you must see them.
