The pension offers standard accommodation. The rooms have a washbasin with cold and hot water. The social facilities are shared. A part of the pension is a restaurant with a bar and non-smoking common room with TV. You can leave the restaurant out to terrace with a beautiful view on to Štola Naděje, (“The gallery of hope”, the gold mine – in former times). There is a wine room (for smokers) with a fireplace in the ground floor. In summer, guests can sit out in the garden with a fireplace. A smaller pets yea, (without cats). There is a volleyball sport ground, Russian ninepins and a naturalistic pool with a padding pool.
Boarding: Possibility of full board.
Parking: Parking site is located behind the object free of charge.
The family pension U Šnečků is situated less then 3 km away from Kašperské mountains at a height of 900 m above sea level.
Winter activities: The region offers excellent conditions for winter sports. Not far from our pension, there is situated the cross-country skiing track, which can take skiers from Churáňov as far as onto edges of Kašperské mountains. The ice-skating is available in the winter stadium in Sušice 16 km or in Vimperk. Fans of downhill skiing can visit the noted ski centre Churáňov 10 km, with several lifts and downhill tracks of various difficulties. The ski renting shop and ski service are at point.
Summers activities: The region is suitable for hiking, mountain biking and mushroom picking. You can use a bike lending office, tennis courts, sauna or possibility of horse riding. Bathing, the bathing establishment is in Rohanov 15 km away, Ubislav – 12 km away and a small lake U Kizu 5 km away. Types on trips: The stronghold Kašperk, Rábí and Velhartice, the chapel in Albrechice, the river Vydra and others.
Bus stop: Na Ramayzlu, in front of our pension, (the stop at the signal), or Kašperské Hory 3,5 km away
Train station: Sušice 16 km away, from here by public bus. We will take you and your luggage to our pension by car after an arrangement.
