The museum of skiing with Christmas cribs in Jilemnice, Museum of Folk creativity in Poniklá, and ""Krkonošské"" museum in Vrchlabí. The community Paseky nad Jizerou is situated not far off skiing resort Rokytnice nad Jizerou 6 km away) and Harrachov (12 km away).
Winter activities: Skiing centre Paseky (4 ski lifts) far-away 200 m from our house. There are more ski lifts in Rokytnice (night skiing), 6km away. In Harrachov (12 kilometers away), there is one of the largest sport centres. The resort offers ideal conditions for cross country skiing. In Rokytnice you will find a lot of conditioned slopes as well as schools of skiing and ski renting shops. There is an indoor swimming pool in Jilemnice, an Aquapark “Babylon” in Liberec, and snowtubing in Vrchlabí (25 km away).
Summer activities: The region is suitable for mountain biking. The region offers plenty of leisure activities. For example: horse riding in a beautiful and colourful countryside of Kněžická cottage an open-air bathing facility in Mlejnky , trails for both ambitious and leisure hikers, the Museum of Skiing with Christmas cribs in Jilemnice (open throughout the year), open–air bathing facility in Dolní Kalná or at campsite Čistá , sports centre in Špindleruv Mlýn (swimming-pool, tennis, squash, sauna, aquacentrum), a giant aquarium in Hradec Králové, ZOO Safari in Dvůr Králové, Adršpašské skály (Adršpašské Rocks), Babiččino údolí in Ratibořice, Kuks and Opočno castles, Pecka castle, bowling in Vrchlabí and in Jilemnice, forest fruit picking.
