The pension Villa Karolína is luxury furnished pension, located in a pictorial mountain village Prášily, situated in the first zone of National park Šumava. Winter activities: Downhill skiing – a nearest ski slope suitable for beginners also for more exacting skiers is 300 m away from our pension. Further ski lifts are in ski resort Železná Ruda. The region offers good conditions for cross-country skiing. Guests can visit a sauna and a covered pool in near-by Srní.
Summer activities: Hiking and mountain biking, there are many tourist routes, the best-known places in surroundings are: Laka and Prášilské lakes, a view tower Poledník and a cycle border checkpoint Gsenget. Happy will be a mushroom pickers an a players of golf. In summer the sightseeing coach goes along all Šumava, with connection to National park in Bavaria. (The passport is necessary)!
