The community history dates back to 13.century. The community has been created by coalescence of several parts of Tolstejn's genus possessions, which lived along the Luznicky stream. The community is known by agriculture development, weaving, glass industry and ore mining.

Doubnice
The community Doubice is from historical standpoint combined of the three parts; Old Doubice, New Doubice they are noted from 15.century. The community is known by people's buildings, glass-works and smelting works. The Western Doubice has been the part of community in former times. This part was abolished nowadays.
